The single-name workstation: pick one underlying and read everything computed for it — the full chain (Strategy Builder + Payoff tabbed) over its chart, the IV surface over portfolio greeks with the what-if slide, and the name's OWN dealer-gamma book over the greeks dashboard. Follows the symbol: the megacaps, AMD, COIN, MSTR, NFLX and the index ETFs all carry a live chain and a gamma book

Use it when: One underlying, and you want everything computed for it on one screen rather than four tabs: what is quoted, what is implied, what dealers are positioned in, and what your own structure does.

Not an index desk. Open it when the question is about one underlying - open the GEX Board when the question is about the complex.

• Presets in the menu bar, under the category this desk belongs to — one click applies the whole layout, and a checkmark tracks which one is active.
• Or the command palette on Ctrl+P, which finds it by name.
• Every panel can be re-pointed at another symbol from its own header, and anything the desk does not open is in the Add Panel menu.

• 1. The chain first, over its chart. Quoted before modelled - the NBBO is the only number in this desk somebody has to honour.
• 2. Build in the Strategy Builder and read the Payoff tab beside it. Both are tabbed on the chain because a structure is built FROM the chain, not next to it.
• 3. The IV surface over portfolio greeks on the left, and use the what-if slide before you send: it is where you find out that the position you like is a vega position you did not mean to take.
• 4. The name's OWN dealer-gamma book last, over the greeks dashboard. This is the part almost nothing else gives you on a single name.

The tell: The read worth waiting for is a strike that is rich on the surface AND sits on a dealer gamma wall in the same name. One says you are being paid to sell it; the other says price may not get there anyway.
