Use it when: The global version of the regime read — when the question is which session or region is driving it.
The global regime read. It matters for futures because ES, NQ and CL trade nearly around the clock, and which session is driving changes the character of the move.
An overnight move in ES is usually somebody else's session. The map tells you whose.
Same, and NQ's overnight range is the wider of the two.
Crude is the most geographically-driven of the three. When the map lights up around a producing region, CL is where it lands first.
