Use it when: The signature desk, and the one I sit in front of most. Three panels, no scrolling, nothing that is not order flow or positioning.
The three panels I would keep if I could only keep three: the book with its heatmap and cumulative delta, a footprint chart, and dealer gamma - the same trade seen through liquidity, aggression and positioning.
The whole desk points at one question on ES: is this level defended? The gamma ladder says which levels should matter, the heatmap says whether size is actually there, the footprint says who is winning at it.
Point all three at NQ from their headers. The gamma leg is thinner than ES because the NQ chain carries less open interest, so weight the book more heavily.
Two of the three work on crude. There is no dealer-gamma leg for CL.
Presets in the menu bar, under the category this desk belongs to — one click applies the whole layout, and a checkmark tracks which one is active.Ctrl+P, which finds it by name.Add Panel menu. The tell: The setup worth waiting for is all three agreeing: a gamma wall, resting size that keeps replenishing at it, and a footprint showing the aggressor failing to get through. Two out of three is a level; three out of three is a trade.
3 panels, read straight from the preset definition in the desktop build:
These desks assume the theory. If any of it is unfamiliar, the background reading is on the learn side:
