Research workspace

Chart + News Feed + Economic Calendar + Earnings + Scanner

Use it when: General digging on a name before it becomes a position.

• Presets in the menu bar, under the category this desk belongs to — one click applies the whole layout, and a checkmark tracks which one is active.
• Or the command palette on Ctrl+P, which finds it by name.
• Every panel can be re-pointed at another symbol from its own header, and anything the desk does not open is in the Add Panel menu.

• 1. Chart and security master for what it is.
• 2. News, catalysts and the earnings calendar for what is coming.
• 3. The scanner for whether anything comparable is doing the same thing.

The tell: Research desks are for forming a question, not confirming an answer. If every panel agrees immediately, you have not looked hard enough.

8 panels, read straight from the preset definition in the desktop build:

• Catalyst Feed (regulatory filings — ahead of the news)
• Chart
• Earnings Calendar (Upcoming reports)
• Economic Calendar
• IPO / M&A Pipeline (S-1 / 424B4 / DEFM14A)
• News Feed (Symbol-tagged wire)
• Scanner
• Security Master (FIGI/LEI/SIC — follows symbol)

• All workspace presets — how docking, link groups and saved layouts work.
• Panel reference — what each panel shows, column by column.
