Overnight range against the gamma walls is the first read. Where the overnight session built value tells you which side of the wall the day starts on.
Run it a second time with everything pointed at NQ. The two complexes routinely start the day with different structures, and this is where that shows up.
Works for crude with the calendar and news legs intact; there is no gamma overlay for CL.
