Use it when: The first thing you open in the morning, before the desk you actually trade on.

The pre-open board: what happened overnight, what is scheduled today, and what is already moving before the bell.

• Presets in the menu bar, under the category this desk belongs to — one click applies the whole layout, and a checkmark tracks which one is active.
• Or the command palette on Ctrl+P, which finds it by name.
• Or ask the ship for it: show me pre market.
• Every panel can be re-pointed at another symbol from its own header, and anything the desk does not open is in the Add Panel menu.

The tell: The question this board answers is whether today has a catalyst or not. A day with nothing scheduled and no overnight story trades ranges; a day with a print at 08:30 has a time on it, and that time should be in your plan before the open.
