Use it when: Reading a company's actual numbers rather than someone's summary of them, and specifically for reading them ACROSS quarters instead of one at a time.

Not a futures board. Quarterly filings and index futures operate on clocks that do not overlap.

• Or the command palette on Ctrl+P, which finds it by name.
• Every panel can be re-pointed at another symbol from its own header, and anything the desk does not open is in the Add Panel menu.

• 2. The computed lines - margins and free cash flow - and the YoY and trend per line. That trend column is the reason the grid is eight quarters wide rather than one.
• 3. Identity and capital returns on the left for what the company is and what it hands back.
• 4. Ratings and squeeze risk over ownership and insiders on the right, and the earnings calendar for when the next set of numbers lands. A thesis with three days until the print is a different position than the same thesis with three months.

The tell: Margin DIRECTION beats margin level, every time. A company at a thin margin that has widened it four quarters running is a better read than a fat margin quietly compressing, and the trend column is what makes that visible without arithmetic.
