The Desk
ProA deep DOM ladder with click-to-trade, a Footprint with multiple rendering modes, TPO / Market Profile, a reconstructed time & sales tape — and the GEX dealer walls drawn on the same chart. Same toolkit, one terminal.
Every piece of this suite is built for traders who read order flow and size — not traders who need a prettier candle. It rewards experience and punishes noise.
What you get
A flat, fast ladder showing the resting book deep on either side. Volume-at-price in-line, size-weighted rows flagged on imbalance, BBO quiet enough to read the rest of the page. Click-to-trade fires simulated paper orders — live broker routing is on the roadmap.
Delta, Profile, Heatmap, Range, and Volume. Each mode is a different question about the same bar — switch modes in-place to interrogate a single candle from multiple angles.
Value area, POC, single prints, developing vs current — the whole Market Profile vocabulary, with the palette tuned to sit quiet next to the rest of the workspace.
Time & sales with size-weighted flash and a configurable highlight threshold. Aggregated prints on one side, individual prints on the other.
Adaptive-body candles with gap bridges between bars — solves the classic 'hundred dojis' problem where price jumped across a session and conventional charting breaks.
Click a price on the DOM, confirm in the order ticket — Sharpnel fires a simulated paper order. Take the trade idea to your existing broker for live execution. Live broker routing is on the roadmap; Sharpnel never sees your credentials and never custodies funds.
Bring-your-own-broker model — live execution always stays in your existing account.
What you'd do with it
Price taps the developing POC. Footprint Delta mode tells you whether buyers are printing into the offer (absorption) or sellers are giving up (exhaustion). DOM confirms with large bids holding through the test.
Tape flashes sustained one-sided selling into the prior session's value-area low. TPO overlay shows you're inside the prior day's acceptance — candidate mean-reversion setup with a hard invalidation if the VAL gives way.
Most DOMs scream at you. This one stays out of the way until size appears, then flashes clean. Makes it possible to work three-symbol baskets without the eyes burning out.
Included with Pro ($125/mo) — that's about 1/16th the cost of an institutional desk terminal.
Common questions
Sharpnel is a bring-your-own-broker terminal — paper-trade in the DOM, take the trade idea to your existing broker for live execution. Live broker routing is on the roadmap; when it ships, your funds stay where they are — Sharpnel never custodies and never sees credentials.
Real tick-level data, not reconstructed from OHLC. Every rendering mode runs off the same trade stream so the numbers reconcile across modes.
Yes — open a second Footprint panel and link it via Link Groups to keep the same symbol synced across two or three timeframes.
